Since 2011, the RealSelf 100 & 500 awards have highlighted board-certified aesthetic doctors in the RealSelf community who consistently demonstrate a commitment to patient education. To honor these winners, we’ve created the RealSelf 100 & 500 Hall of Fame and are promoting inductees on RealSelf, in social media, and more.
The RealSelf 100 & 500 Hall of Fame celebrates all inductees. Coming in 2019, we’ll retire these awards and launch a variety of new campaigns that will do even more to showcase your continued commitment to helping potential patients on RealSelf make smart, confident decisions. We’ll start to announce these exciting new initiatives soon.
Hall of Fame Eligibility
All inductees into the RealSelf 100 & 500 Hall of Fame meet strict eligibility requirements. As the name implies, every inductee has won at least one RealSelf 100 or RealSelf 500 award in the past eight years, based on a consistent commitment to patient education and helping RealSelf users make smart, confident decisions about their aesthetic treatments. This includes answering consumer questions, having a minimum number of highly-rated reviews, and adding a minimum number of before & after photos. In addition, all RealSelf 100 & 500 Hall of Fame inductees are board-certified doctors.
To help potential patients find the best doctor for them, we ranked inductees based on how many RealSelf 100 or 500 awards they won in the past eight years. Repeat winners receive special designation among all Hall of Fame inductees:
- Elite Inductees (the top 1%): 4+ RealSelf 100 or 500 awards since 2010
- Superior Inductees (the top 5%): 3 RealSelf 100 or 500 awards since 2010
- Distinguished Inductees (the top 25%): 2 RealSelf 100 or 500 awards since 2010
Behind the Scenes
It takes dedication and expertise to help potential patients make smart, confident decisions. While analyzing Hall of Fame data, we noticed some amazing and interesting results. For instance, California has the most RealSelf 100 & 500 Hall of Fame inductees with 209 in total. Here are some other stats you might want to know:
- Total patient reviews for all inductees: 51,917
- Total 4-star or above reviews for all inductees: 4,521
- Total before & after photos for all inductees: 194,377
- Total answers to Q&As from all inductees: 1,805,806
