Doctors wanting to stay on top of the latest aesthetic trends should make plans to be in Las Vegas June 6–10 for Vegas Cosmetic Surgery 2012.
Held at The Bellagio hotel, the five-day Multi-Specialty Foundation 2012 medical conference for plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and facial plastic surgeons is augmenting its already-comprehensive educational agenda with new programming designed to address the changing state of the doctor-patient relationship.
On Thursday, June 7th a special session called “Controversies in Aesthetic Surgery—The Patient Speaks,” will feature doctor discussants Jason Pozner, Gaylon McCollough, Mark Jewell, Steven Dayan, Anthony Youn, and Michael Edwards. The doctors will share their response to common questions posted to RealSelf.com, opinions on post-op challenges, and insights into new technologies that are frequently discussed by the 4,000 participating physicians at RealSelf.
We are pleased to be partnering with RealSelf on this innovative session, where we will have some of the top aesthetics physicians discussing the most critical patient questions in a roundtable format, said 2012 Meeting Chairman Randy Waldman, M.D.
Such questions play an increasingly important role in the doctor-patient relationship, says RealSelf CEO Tom Seery, who views that evolution as one of the most far-reaching trends in the industry over the last several years.
This is our third year contributing to the meeting, he said. It’s been exciting to watch it grow and we’re proud to partner with the Multi-Specialty Foundation on this session. Understanding patients’ concerns is the first step to ensuring results meet or exceed their expectations.
