Like you, we want to help the medical professionals on the front lines of battling COVID-19.
In light of the critical shortages of personal protective equipment that are threatening the health and safety of those professionals, we’ve decided to back efforts to get this much-needed equipment into their hands—and quickly.
That’s why RealSelf is partnering with Los Angeles-based retailer Bluestone Sunshields to support the manufacture and distribution of safety glasses and full-face shields to hospitals in Los Angeles, New York City and Seattle.
Beginning this week, the first shipments of supplies are being distributed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, and UW Medicine hospitals in Seattle. Subsequent shipments will be sent from now until May 15.

And of course, if you or someone you know wants to offer a $5 donation to pay for safety glasses, contributions can be made directly to Bluestone Sunshields now through May 1. Every $5 donation pays for one pair of safety glasses or one full-face shield.
We know you have already given in many ways on your own, so thank you and again know that we’re here for you.
RealSelf and Bluestone Sunshields are partnering to manufacture and distribute safety glasses and full face shields, which are among the personal protective equipment (PPE) most needed by medical professionals at this time.
