In the video above, I discuss my vision for RealSelf and the top three priorities I’ll be leading my team on in the coming months. We’ll be:
- Doing more vetting of consumers before connecting them with practices.
- Focusing on new ways to make it easier for you to get the most out of RealSelf.
- Embedding doctors more firmly in our decision-making process via our new Business Advisory Board.
You’ve been vocal either with me or my team about what you need from RealSelf, and those conversations inspired these priorities. I built RealSelf to help consumers make smarter aesthetic decisions and connect practices with people who are seeking treatments. We’ve been successful at doing this, but we’re also going to continue evolving as technology, consumer expectations and the aesthetics landscape continue to shift. And as a technology company, RealSelf has scale on our side, and we’re going to continue using our significant reach among aesthetics consumers to qualify them, help you connect with them, and give you access to tools to help grow your customer base in the process.
We’re also going to be intentional about keeping you up-to-speed on our work—we’ll continue to do that here on the RealSelf Insights Center (you can sign up for updates here), and in more update videos like the one above. Stay tuned for new videos previewing RealSelf products and features, plus an update on how we’re aligning our teams to resource these priorities. I’m looking forward to continuing this conversation with you as these changes get underway!
